By Terry is one of the most stunning, high end brands and has a beautiful Summer range. I decided to treat myself to a make-up treat.
I got an e-mail from Fenwick stating there was a few-day ‘Meet the Professionals’ event in selected stores. I casually took a scroll down the list, not thinking I would even attend, but a few names and treatments caught my eye. Having a light bulb moment and thinking it would be a great feature, I went ahead with my designated cameraman Aaron (of Chohan Innovations – check them out!).
I went on a sunny Wednesday to the Bond Street branch and the lovely staff at By Terry got straight to it. The woman by the counter took my make-up off to cleanse my skin and the make-up artist, who asked to be unnamed, got to work to give me a sun-kissed look!
Throughout the session, I was treated to a glass of Rose Water (which was delicious!) and had a great chat with the make-up artist about new trends, the By Terry brand and much more.
By Terry was founded around 20 years ago, by one of the heads of YSL and the woman who invented the infamous, Touche Éclat! The brand is focusing on softer looks this year and make-up that can be achieved in a short amount of time. It oozes sophistication, simplicity and sexiness with it’s range of products and gorgeous cosmetics. Using a lot of rose in the range, By Terry has an excellent range of skin products that smell div-ine!
The anonymous, yet fabulous, make-up artist discussed the class of French make-up and how highlight was not a big push for the brand this year. They went with a range of bronzers, blushers and the odd highlight for a sultry Summer look. He also talked about the re-emergence of the “80s power blush” wherein the blush goes high, just beyond the temples, for an edgy throwback and uber glam base.
As a result, I was super happy with my smokey eye and classic nude lip! I fell in love with the Sun Designer palette in Savannah Love and will definitely be going back to purchase it! Thanks again to the Fenwick Bond Street By Terry Team!
Hope you guys enjoy the video! I apologise for not being a Final Cut Pro yet.
